Hello!

 

My name is Megan DeSloover and I'm the Literacy and Writing Coach for grades K-8 at L. Hollingworth School. My various roles include coaching all teachers responsible for reading and writing instruction, overseeing various building-wide literacy initiatives, and working closely with our wonderful Reading Specialists to provide small group interventions and Title I services. 

 

I received both my bachelor's degree and master's in education from The University of Toledo. I was previously a classroom ELA teacher for grades 7 and 8 before taking on my current job title.

 

I currently live in Holland, and spend time outside of school with my husband, baby boy, and Great Dane. 

 

I'm looking forward to another great year at LHS!
