Hello L. Hollingworth families! My name is Kelsey Garmon and I am so excited to work with your students as the new intervention specialist! I have been working here one month and can already say I am working with the best!
I grew up in Kenton, OH and graduated from Kenton High School in 2009. I then spent four of the best years at Ohio University in Athens, OH where I studied Speech-Language Pathology and psychology. It was at OU that I fell in love with working in the special education field. I have worked as a behavior interventionist in schools and clinics with students with a wide range of disabilities. My heart is in the classroom though and I decided to get my Master of Arts in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. I finished this degree online while working as an intervention specialist for Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities and Hancock County Board of Developmental Disabilities before moving my talents here. I live in Findlay, OH currently and when I am not teaching, you might find me baking or working at Kohl's.
