Welcome back to L. Hollingworth School for the 2023-2024 SY. My name is Ms. Andrea Hoover and I will be the new Math Intervention Teacher. This is my second year at LHS but I'll be starting my 18th year of teaching. In my new position, I will be pulling students to work on math skills and to help improve their overall math knowledge. Not only does my new position allow me to help students on a one-to-one basis, I also get to help in the classrooms to aide the teachers and their class's overall Math skills.  

Meet my family: Parents, Sisters (2) and their families, my 2 nephews and niece, and my dog Payton Sue.

My promise to all students:

Parents:

     If you are interested in helping your student at home work on math skills, please feel free to reach out to me for games and flashcards to be sent home to use and then return. I have a lot of Family Math Literacy packets I cannot wait to share and send home. These will be on loan to your family for 1 week, then returned (to get a different packet or to check it back out). I look forward to working with you and your student to build their math skills and learn that math can be fun and found in every day life.
