We are going to go over some of the most missed questions from yesterday to go over mistakes and misconceptions. Then you are to redo the two Khan Academies from yesterday to see if your score improves.

After we go over a few questions from the MobyMaxes from yesterday there is an i-Ready lesson for you to do to help review equivalent expressions and the distributive property.

After 30 minutes of i-Ready (Or Prodigy if you haven't tested yet), follow along in class to complete the notes then do the two MobyMax assignments titled 'Use distributive property to find equivalent expressions' and 'Use distributive property with factoring to find equivalent expressions'

30 minutes of i-Ready for those of you who have already tested. Remember i-Ready will start being graded soon so I suggest using this time to get in the habit to getting 45 minutes every week AND passing one lesson a week.

For those who have not yet tested I would like you to spend 30 minutes on Prodigy answering questions.

After that half hour work on any missing work you may have.

Do 30 minutes of i-Ready then there are 18 questions to answer on Prodigy covering operations with rational numbers and converting fractions to decimals.

We are going to go over the following article linked about absolute value. Then there is an assignment to do for practice.

In class we will go over the guide together that you can use as a resource moving forward when dealing with adding and subtracting negatives. Then there will be four MobyMax assignments for you to complete. 'Add negative and positive numbers Part 1', 'Subtract numbers from positive and negative numbers', 'Subtract negative numbers', and 'Add two negative numbers' are their titles.

There is a teacher assigned lesson titled 'Practice: Strategies to Add and Subtract Rationals'

Do 30 minutes of i-Ready then do the two Khan Academy assignments reviewing adding and subtracting negative numbers.

Log on to Prodigy through Clever and answer 15 questions about rational numbers with varying operations.

Follow along in class or with the video to fill out the notes. After the notes log in through Clever to Khan Academy and watch a short video with an example of how to add and subtract rational numbers then complete a small assignment on it as well.

Before we move on to problems where we convert rational numbers then add them I want us to review adding and subtracting fractions more. There are two MobyMax assignments to do, "Add fractions with unequal denominators with hints part 1" and "Subtract fractions with unequal denominators with hints"

Follow along to get the notes completed then log in to Khan Academy through Clever to do two assignments practicing converting fractions to decimals and vice versa.

Once your rough draft has been okayed, copy and paste it into this Final Draft Googledoc. Here you will finalize adding your sources, sentence structure, and grammar.

Directions: Complete the following outline before beginning your rough draft. Reference back to your sources to aid in the process. Be sure to use information from both to answer the prompt.

Prompt: Review the two sources provided to you. Write a multi-paragraph essay in which you analyze the student work sample of adding and subtracting positive and negative integers. In your response consider the rules for adding adding and subtracting positive and negative integers, what mistakes were made, and what the correct answer should have been.

Your response must be based on ideas and information that can be found in the sources provided.
